Caring for your silk
Fine mulberry silk is more resilient than its reputation suggests — it simply asks for a gentle routine. Follow these steps and your silk will stay luminous for years.
Washing
Machine-wash cold (about 30°C / 86°F) on a delicate cycle inside a mesh bag, with a pH-neutral silk or delicates detergent. Avoid bleach and enzyme detergents. Prefer hand-washing? Swirl gently in cool water for a few minutes, then rinse — never rub or wring.
Drying
Never tumble-dry. Press out excess water by rolling the piece in a clean towel, then lay flat or hang to dry away from direct sun and heat.
Ironing & storage
If needed, iron on the silk/low setting on the reverse while slightly damp. Store clean silk in a cool, dry place in a breathable cotton bag.
